We appreciate all RSVP’s be in by March 1st, 2025.
What should I wear?
We recommend a dressy casual attire. For this time of year in Florida we suggest: sundresses/ cocktail length dresses or lightweight dressy separates with flats or wedged heels for the outdoor ceremony. Men are encouraged to wear a light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks: jackets and ties are optional.
Where is the Wedding?
Our wedding will be held at the Estate on the Halifax, a location we chose because of its stunning outdoor environment. The natural beauty here is breathtaking, with rivers flowing through the grounds, and the estate is situated right on the Halifax River. This historic estate, passed down through the generations, is set on ten beautiful acres in Port Orange. The property features lush gardens and charming spots perfect for gathering. One of our favorites is the Club Car, a 1940s train car converted into a dressing suite. After the ceremony, guests can enjoy cocktails in the peaceful gardens around "Snow White’s Cottage," before dining and dancing in the Tavern, a beautifully restored 1920s home. It’s a truly magical setting for a wedding!
What time should I arrive?
We ask guest to arrive early and be in your seat by 3:15pm. The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm.
How do I get there?
There is plenty of parking at the venue. If you need further directions from your location please reach out so we can help you plan the fastest route.
Are drinks provided?
Yes we will be providing a selection of non alcoholic drinks along with an open bar of beer and wine. If you would like a cocktail, there is a cash bar available inside the tavern.
What food will be served?
Our menu focuses around an Italian theme. Cocktail hour will be served around snow white’s cottage featuring charcuterie cups, caprese skewers, arancini bites and Italians style gazpacho. Dinner will be served buffet style with options including a pasta bar, salad, grilled chicken with garlic herb seasoning, sliced herb crusted flank steak, lemon butter asparagus, wild mushroom orzo, garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes, garlic knots, and focaccia bread. Don’t worry we do have a kid friendly option if needed of chicken nuggets with mac and cheese. Please just let us know in the rsvp or by texting us if your child would prefer this. For dessert options include donuts, tiramisu shooters, crème brûlée cups, and cannolis.
